The never ending fight...
President Trump continues to stir things up: today he tweeted a Jobs Not Mobs video that has all the right people upset. On the heels of that, there’s rumors of a new U.N. Ambassador. No one has caught their breath yet from the Birthright Citizenship question.
Trump is also blaming the Democrats for importing killers:

One of my frustrations with the Obama machine was the non-stop provocative fodder. It was like a bully constantly digging his pointer finger into a kid’s sternum. Provoke. Provoke. Daring someone to punch back so he could cry out, “He hit me!” or in Obama’s case, “Racism!” He was yanking his perceived political enemies around on a leash. His supporters loved it. The media praised him for his finesse. Even articles criticizing him, put forth the he’s just too good premise. Here’s the Atlantic:
But what if Obama was too good at social media? Maybe America didn’t need a social-media president, but a president whose technological savvy could apply to legislation and governance as much as public communication.
Just too good. Everybody misses him.
President Barack Obama was a novice compared to Donald J. Trump. I’m not sure I like it. Oh, it’s a winner politically: whip-saw one’s opponent so completely that they’re responding to yesterday’s news. A week ago is an eternity. A year ago, unfathomable. No one can remember this afternoon’s headlines, never mind this morning. Poke. Poke. Poke.
But there’s no media to laugh and praise Trump. They recoil in horror, because, like the Leftists they represent, they feel the pain of the pointer finger on their breastbone and they want to punch back. And unlike the average American voter who was the object of Obama’s supercilious wrath for eight years (those bitter clingers) they have a platform to fight back and they win financially when they do. The media cuts the President with lies and distortions undermining their arguments.
The press loved President Obama’s manipulation of the news cycle. They hate Trump. Here’s a montage encapsulating their fury:
Would they ever positively describe the President’s mastery of the news cycle? No. According to them, President Trump is evil. They don’t feel ashamed to say this.
And it’s their behavior, more than the President’s obvious manipulation, that makes people shrug. Since these folks don’t report the news anyway, he might as well not mend his ways either. Plus, the media never defended the people being bullied for eight years. In fact, they didn’t even see Obama’s behavior as bullying. So like teachers who protect the malicious pet because the pet knows how to feed the teacher’s ego, they gave Bully Obama A+ marks.
Trump’s Twitter feed is a constant narrative-building machine. The media can’t cope. They hate him. Their hate seems particularly on display when a kind-hearted interviewee like the Pittsburg Rabbi Jeffrey Myers is interviewed and speaks poignantly of President Trump’s warm and comforting side that the media never portrays.
It very well may be that the past week’s Pittsburgh terrorist attack, and the way the President responded, and the way the Left Media then hit the President viciously anyway is the “Rosetta Stone” — the small piece of archaeological evidence historians will need — to decipher that Donald Trump was right to call the Fake News Left Media the “enemy of the people.”
And so, President Trump will have his defense. A phalanx of citizens locked together, pushing forward, protecting the President so he can get things done. The shrieking media be damned. The marauding Twitter feed be damned. The President will protect the people and so they, in turn, protect him.
That’s not to say this situation isn’t toxic. It is.
Who will lay down their arms first? Not the media. Not the Leftists. As Dov says, President Trump is not Ronald Reagan. Trump is a pugilist.
So, a frenzy of news and a constant fight it is.
