Joe Biden held a confusing press conference on Thursday following Russia’s military invasion of Ukraine.

On Wednesday night Russian President Vladimir Putin declared the start of Russian military operations in Ukraine.

Russian forces attacked several cities and strategic sites across Ukraine.

During his press conference, Joe Biden announced new sanctions against the Putin regime.

He then minutes later told reporters the sanctions won’t work.

Joe Biden: “No one expected the sanctions to prevent anything from happening…Putin’s not going to say ‘oh, my god, the sanctions are coming.'”
