PERFECT: DEBBIE WASSERMAN SCHULTZ CLAIMS DEMS WILL BE RUNNING ON OBAMACARE ‘SUCCESS’ IN 2014

Things are burning around Her and she says this? What a Nutcase!

DWS

As we proceed down the path to ruin under the so-called leadership of Barack Obama and his Democratic cohorts in the House and Senate, we are witnessing our footing as a nation go from bad to worse.
In the case of Obamacare, Democrats are certainly in a hole. Good advice would be for them to stop digging. Thankfully, they don’t intend to.
DNC Chairman Debbie Wasserman Schultz has doubled-down on the Obamacare disaster and proudly proclaimed that Democrats intend to run for re-election on Obamacare- the disastrous healthcare overhaul that serves as President Obama’s signature “achievement” for his presidency.
That’s like the Ford Company hailing the success of the Edsel or the White Star Line courtinginvestors based on the success of the Titanic.
After being taunted by Karl Rove on MSNBC on Tuesday for so steadfastly embracing Obamacare as a tool for Democrats rather than a liability, Wasserman Schultz shot back,
“Heck, yeah, I’m going to make sure that we run on that all across the country next year.” She also stated, “The reason they are doing that is they know that when it’s successful, not only is it something that we’re going to be able to win on, it will [be] something that their candidates lose on for opposing.”
It’s like a slow-motion trainwreck; you want to turn away but you just can’t.
55% of American voters want a repeal of Obamacare, according to a Rasmussen Poll his week. The healthcare insurance exchange doesn’t work and has cost us hundreds of millions and while many states report single-digit signups for Obamacare, millions are reported to receive cancellation notices of their current health insurance to force them to buy more-expensive Obamacare plans. So, no; I don’t think it’s going to be a big hit with voters.
On Monday, Wasserman Schultz spoke with Candy Crowley about the need for Democrats to run for re-election based on the popularity and success of Obamacare. Speaking with Crowley, she claimed,
“I think ObamaCare, because Americans have been feeling the benefits since 2010… I think, actually Candy, that Democratic candidates will be able to run on ObamaCare as an advantage leading into the 2014 election.”
After Obamacare’s rollout, vulnerable Democratic Senator Kay Hagan’s support plummeted by 17 points. Democrats voted for this mess, now they have some explaining to do.
When asked about the cancellation notices Americans are receiving, Wasserman Schultz interjected a made-up term to explain away the President’s lies,
“The situation that Floridians, or any person who’s gotten a ‘transition letter’ from their insurance company are in, is that they will have an opportunity to shop on the exchange and compare plans.”
That’s right- the notices sent to millions of Americans being booted from their plans they were promised that they would be able to keep were not “cancellation notices,” they were “transition letters.”
Obamacare is a disaster. Americans who once naively believed that healthcare can be had affordably under a socialized healthcare system are now waking to the harsh reality that this is not what Americans signed up for. The more Democrats push Obamacare as a good thing when it is obviously a humongous blunder, the more it demonstrates their detachment from reality and the voters. I encourage each and every Democrat to run on Obamacare’s success; hopefully that will produce a Republican-controlled Senate and a stronger GOP foothold in the House.
