5 dead, 15 wounded in separate shootings

Wow, a Lot of Black on black Crime. Where is Sharpton and Jackson again? Oh wait, it Doesn't fit their fundraising narrative!

 Five people were killed and at least 15 other people were wounded since early Sunday afternoon during separate shootings across the city, authorities said.
In the latest shooting, two men were killed and one was injured around 3:10 a.m. Monday following a fight in a club in the 2200 block of North Ashland Avenue in the Bucktown neighborhood on the North Side, said Officer Hector Alfaro, a Chicago Police Department spokesman.
Elijah Moore, 41, was shot in the chest and Deonte Jackson, 34, suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Both were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
A 26-year-old man was shot in the wrist and taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where his condition stabilized, authorities said.
Two men were shot dead about 4:30 p.m. Sunday in the 5800 block of West North Avenue in the North Austin neighborhood on the West Side , said Officer Veejay Zala, a police spokesman.
The two were inside a vehicle traveling east on North Avenue when another car pulled up and an occupant fired shots, hitting the men, said Zala.
The vehicle they were in then crashed into a parked car, and the two were declared dead on the scene, according to Zala, who said no arrests have been made.  A motive was not clear Sunday night.
According to the Cook County medical examiner's office, the two men are Andre Chatman, 23, and Carey Hollis, 28. Both live in the 1000 block of North Mayfield Avenue.
Earlier, a 16-year-old boy died after being shot in the head around 12:52 p.m. Sunday in the 5800 block of West Patterson Avenue in the Portage Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side, Alfaro said.
The boy was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition, Alfaro said. The boy, identified by the medical examiner's office as Giovanni Matos of the 5500 block of West Henderson Street, was later pronounced dead at 4:39 p.m.
The Patterson shooting appears to have been a drive-by, police said. 
In other shootings:
• Around 4:20 a.m. Monday, a 19-year-old man walked into Presence Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston with a gunshot wound to his leg, police said.  He told police he was in the 4700 block of South King Drive in the Bronzeville neighborhood on the South Side when he heard shots and felt pain. 
•  Around 1:55 a.m. Monday, a 30-year-old man was wounded in a shooting in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side, police said. The man was in the 6600 block of South Oakley Avenue when a male attacker walked out of gangway and fired shots, striking him in the thigh. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center where his condition stabilized, police said.
• Around 12:05 a.m. Monday, a 17-year-old woman was wounded in a shooting in the 4100 block of South Western Avenue in the Brighton Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side, police said. The woman was a passenger in a vehicle traveling northbound on Western when a black sedan pulled up alongside. Attackers inside the black sedan started yelling gang slogans and fired shots, striking the woman in the upper right thigh, Alfaro said.
The woman was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where her condition stabilized, Alfaro said.
• Around 11:55 p.m. Sunday, a 20-year-old man was wounded in a shooting in the 5900 block of South Campbell Avenue in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood on the Southwest Side, police said. The man was walking on a sidewalk when he was shot in the wrist and thigh, police said. The man was able to get himself to Saint Bernard Hospital and Health Care Center where his condition stabilized, police said.   
• Around 10:10 p.m., a 25-year-old man was wounded in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side, said Alfaro. The man was in the 700 block of West 118th Street when he was shot in the leg during a brawl with several other males. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center where his condition stabilized, Alfaro said, citing preliminary information. 
• Around 8:25 p.m. Sunday, a 36-year-old man was wounded in a shooting in the Cragin neighborhood on the Northwest Side, police said. He was in the 2900 block of North Long Avenue when he was shot in the left thigh, police said, and was transported to Illinois Masonic, where his condition stabilized.
• Around 7:30 p.m. Sunday, a 14-year-old boy was wounded in a shooting in the Avalon Park neighborhood on the Far South Side, said Officer Amina Greer, a police spokeswoman. The boy was walking in the 7900 block of South Dante Avenue when an attacker came out of a vehicle and fired shots, striking him in the leg, Greer said. The boy was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where his condition stabilized.
• Sometime around 4:40 p.m. Sunday, a 30-year-old man was wounded in the 1600 block of South Wolcott Avenue in the Heart of Chicago neighborhood on the South Side, police said. The man was shot in the head and side, according to police, and was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition.
• Around 3:15 p.m. Sunday, a 12-year-old boy suffered a graze wound to his left hand while on a playground in the 1300 block of South Saint Louis Avenue in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side, Alfaro said. The boy was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was listed in good condition. The incident appears to be a possible drive-by shooting. The boy was not the intended target, police said.
• Around 3 p.m. Sunday, an 18-year-old man was wounded in a gang-related shooting in the 5100 block of West Iowa Street in the South Austin neighborhood on the West Side, police said. The man was walking on a sidewalk when he heard gunshots and realized he was wounded in the right leg. He was taken to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in good condition, Alfaro said.
• At the same time, around 3 p.m., a 16-year-old boy was wounded in a gang-related shooting in the 5900 block of South Artesian Avenue in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood, police said. The boy was in the area when an unknown attacker came out of a gangway and fired several shots, striking him in the left elbow. The boy was taken to Holy Cross Hospital in good condition, police said.
• Three people were shot at 1:17 p.m. Sunday in the 5800 block of South LaSalle Street in the Englewood neighborhood, according to Officer Jose Estrada, a police spokesman. A 24-year-old man was shot in the chest, a 25-year-old man was shot in the hip, hand, and back, and a 22-year-old woman was shot in the knee, said Zala.
The woman was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn while the men were taken to Stroger hospital, where their conditions had stabilized, Zala said.
