Wisconsin Jobs Now, a militant Wisconsin group funded heavily by the National Education Association, America’s largest teachers union, paraded an “ALL COPS ARE BASTARDS” banner during one of their traveling an anti-cop protests.
The National Education Association, the largest teacher’s union in the United States, is one of the major financial contributors to Wisconsin Jobs Now. They donated $125,000 in 2014 alone.
The protest occurred after a Madison police officer shot and killed Tony Robinson. Police say Robinson, 19, assaulted the officer. He also pleaded guilty to armed robbery last year.
“This is not just a rally,” Wisconsin Jobs Now protest leader assured the assembled crowd. “We are taking direct and corrective action.” According to the EAGnews:

According to the Daily Caller, “National Education Association president Lily Eskelsen García told the Austin American-Statesman that public education spending must be drastically increased at every level. ‘It’s a lie’ whenever anyone observes that there isn’t enough money to increase the wages and benefits of her labor constituency, Eskelsen García declared. She also expressed her desire for a return to the politics of Lyndon B. Johnson.
In November 2014, after the Democrats historic mid-term losses, the union heartily supported, Eskelsen García’s efforts to pass new laws forcing taxpayers to foot all or part of the college tuition costs for anyone who becomes a teacher.
