Liberals have a way with words that could only appeal to a low-information voter.
The rich paying their “fair share” of taxes is code for “more.” “Multiculturalism” is code for “any culture but Western culture.” “Workplace violence” is code for Islamic terror – and on the issue of gun control, it’s just “common sense” gun control liberals are for, we’re told. But is that code for something else?
Of course it is.
Reporting from the DNC, James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas captured Mary Bayer, a Hillary Clinton campaign staffer confessing as much. Watch below:
Undercover journalist: Well, we can’t say we want to ban guns. Can we do that? We got to hide that.
Bayer: No, right. You got to say you want “common sense gun legislation.”
Journalist: Then, bait and switch them and ban them all. But Hillary Clinton would be for banning guns right?
Bayer: For sure.
Journalist: Yeah, I didn’t know what her position was.
Bayer: Yeah, I think, well she doesn’t take any positions that are too terribly extreme.
Journalist: In Public – publicly.
Bayer: Right… You have to take that sort of moderate, “We just wanna have common sense legislation so our children are safe!” You say s— like that, and people will buy into it.
This shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone. After all, when was the last time the Democrats have exercised common sense?
