Fox News Contributor Claims Hillary Clinton ‘Gave’ Russians Money During 2016 Campaign

The Clowns on the Left can be Bitch Slapped with the truth and they will still deny it

Fox News contributor Katie Pavlich wheeled out a trusted defense of President Donald Trump on the network Monday (with a new twist), claiming that Hillary Clinton‘s campaign “gave” money to Russians during the 2016 election.
During a debate on Fox News over the merits of the investigation into the Trump campaign’s ties to Russia, Pavlich laid out an argument that often gets touted on the network: The Clinton campaign paid Fusion GPS for an opposition research dossier on Trump; Its author, ex-British spy Christopher Steele, used Russian sources in gathering information about Trump; Therefore, Clinton colluded with Russia!
It’s a massive stretch, but ‘The Real Collusion Happened Between Hillary and Russia’ is certainly an persuasive headline for supporters of the president.
Pavlich ran with that, declaring on Fox News that the Russia investigation has “exposed the other side,” pointing to revelations an FBI informant spoke to members of the Trump campaign. Pavlich falsely claimed that the informant was “on the Trump campaign,” and suggested that the FBI targeted the Republican candidate.
The commentator went on to claim that the Clinton campaign paid “a foreign spy, British spy, who was working with Russians to create a dossier with salacious information about President Trump.”
“We have seen the result of all of this boomerang on the other side, on the Clinton campaign, which was more directly connected to the Russians than we’ve seen any evidence of with the Trump campaign.”
That last remark caused Pavlich’s co-panelist, former Clinton communications director Adrienne Elrod, to break out laughing.
“They gave them money,” Pavlich protested.
“I don’t even know where to start here,” Elrod said. “The Clinton campaign did not have any collusion with Russia, let’s just put that forward.”
“They paid someone working with Russians money for opposition research on Donald Trump,” Pavlich said.
“It was opposition research,” Elrod replied.
“And money went to the Russians,” Pavlich said. “Sounds like collusion to me.” (There’s no evidence that money from the Clinton campaign “went to the Russians.”)
“No not at all,” Elrod countered.
Fox News host Heather Childers concluded the segment by lamenting how long Mueller’s Russia investigation has gone on for.
