Bloomberg News has made a startling observation, which – if true – is proof positive that anybody who disagrees with President Obama is a racist.
In a headline Monday, the site proclaimed “House Republicans Set To Defy Obama Are Mostly White Men.” Reporter Greg Giroux (who also happens to be white, but I digress) started his story this way:
“The core group of Republicans who are pushing the House toward a showdown with the White House over the debt ceiling and government spending is made up of 41 members — all white men except for two.”
Giroux refers to the lawmakers as “small” and “homogenous” in an attempt to belittle their attempts to curtail President Obama’s left-wing ideology.
And just in case you didn’t get the author’s attempt to diminish these elected officials, the author calls the 41 congressmen the “caucus of no,” meaning, um, they vote with their conscience.
In the article, Giroux references the fact that most of the congress members represent districts in the “former confederacy” and laments that most of them were handily elected or re-elected.
The article drips with liberal hatred, which makes one wonder how many articles were written about the ethnically-bereft Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi when they continuously fought against President George W. Bush’s policies.
President Obama promised a “new tone” in Washington when he was elected. This administration was supposed to be “post-racial,” remember? It’s turning out this is the most racially polarizing administration since Reconstruction.
