New reports show that Obama knew of the chemical attack 3 days before it happened... and didn't try to alert civilians or humans rights activists.

Why? Because the bigger the body count, the less "foolish" Obama would look trying to make it his "red line" to the rest of the world. Sickening.

Obama Knew Of Chemical Attack Before It Happened… Didn’t Warn Civilians

A new report being published by the Foreign Policy blog “The Cable” has revealed that Obama and his administration knew of the Syrian chemical attack at least 3 days before it happened. What did they say to the Syrian people or the media? Not a word.

It’s possible they might have said something to the Islamic radicals and rebels, but that would just show another layer of corruption. The rebels would have an interest in the attack being deadly — attracting more global allies.

Every day, a new scandal comes out of DC showing just how desperate the entire system is to use any atrocity as an excuse for more powers. This is no different. Obama likely didn’t speak up beforehand because the attack would need to be as deadly as possible. Otherwise, his “red line” would look foolish. Like usual, Obama’s administration is based on saving face, ignoring atrocities, and using every tragedy for political purposes. Our foreign policy has nothing to do with humanitarian goals. It’s about power.

American intelligence agencies had indications three days beforehand that the Syrian regime was poised to launch a lethal chemical attack that killed more than a thousand people and has set the stage for a possible U.S. military strike on Syria.

The disclosure — part of a larger U.S. intelligence briefing on Syria’s chemical attacks — raises all sorts of uncomfortable questions for the American government. First and foremost: What, if anything, did it do to notify the Syrian opposition of the pending attack?

Razan Zaitouneh, an opposition activist in the town of Douma, one of the towns hit in the Aug. 21 attack, said she had no early indication of a major chemical attack. “Even the moment [the attack hit], we thought it was as usual, limited and not strong,” she told The Cable in an instant message. That only changed when “we started to hear about the number of injuries.”

“It’s unbelievable that they did nothing to warn people or try to stop the regime before the crime,” Zaitouneh added.

For example, they also report that the Syrian government was at least partially panicking after the attack, showing that it wasn’t a broad, well-known attack — and might not have been ordered by the Syrian government at all. The Cable reported Tuesday that U.S. intelligence had intercepted a panicked phone call between an official at the Syrian Ministry of Defense and a leader of a chemical weapons unit in the hours after the attack. The minister demanded answers for the strike, which used a nerve agent. Those conversations helped convince U.S. officials that the Syrian regime was responsible.

One thing should be clear: Obama’s attempt to find an excuse to go to war to look “cool” in front of Putin is pathetic, destructive, and a hideous justification for an act of war. The US should stay out of it.
