Unbelievable: NBC Calls Illegal Immigrants ‘Refugee Riders’

  This sure sounds like a Planned invasion of Illegals and this Administration is telling us to accept it and the media like NBC is just Kissing his a** . With the protest  happening in California it looks like the people are standing up against this Clown in the White house.

                       

The left has had a difficult time coming to terms with the truthfulness of the term “illegal immigrant.” In recent years, Democrats and their counterparts in the mainstream media have danced around the term, offering coy little euphemisms like “undocumented immigrants” and- my personal favorite- “undocumented workers.”

However, those that come here in violation of our laws cannot rightfully be called anything but “illegal immigrants.” They are here illegally and they’re immigrants.

To gloss over the criminality of their migration is misleading; it’s like saying Jack the Ripper was an “unlicensed surgeon”- the term just doesn’t quite fit in terms of relating the illegality of their actions.

NBC, however, continues to dance around this term and relating the recent surge of illegals that have flooded into this country, mostly abandoned children, NBC has shown its bias by refusing to call them illegal immigrants and even offered a twitter hashtag with the absurd phrase “#RefugeeRiders.”

On Wednesday, NBC’s Today host Matt Lauer editorialized on the issue at the border with nearly 60,000 children having arrived in America illegally and mostly unsupervised. Lauer stated,

“As so many issues in this country do it’s going to boil down to politics. And wherever you stand on the issue, one side or the other, I’m not going to weigh in on that, it’s hard to see those images moms and their kids in that situation.”

Lauer then asked viewers to weigh in using the twitter hashtag “#RefugeeRiders.”

First of all, while it may be unfortunate that there are so many children warehoused, perhaps the lesson here should be that parents shouldn’t send their children off into the desert to cross illegally into another country. It’s unfortunate that these children are caught in this situation, but in a country that considers spanking to be child abuse, why has the conversation shifted to a supposed responsibility to accommodate this influx of illegals and not served as a broader discussion of the despicable tactics to which these parents have resorted?

Secondly, these are not “refugee riders.” They are illegal immigrants that must be returned to their families in Central and South America.

The sooner the leftist mainstream media begins to accept the realities surrounding illegal immigration, the sooner we, as a nation, can have a substantive discussion over what to do with those who come here in violation of our laws.
