In objecting to the recent Hobby Lobby decision by the Supreme Court, Democrat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, who is operating under the dark cloud of ethics charges, said, referred to the deciding votes in the 5-4 decision, that the votes were made by “five white men.”
There’s only one problem. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, who Reid knows voted in favor of Hobby Lobby and religious freedom…is black (see video below).
Many have wondered about Reid’s mental faculties. This strange statement about the only black member of the current Supreme Court is only going to add fuel to this curiosity.
Others have wondered about Reid’s racist tendencies, and may interpret Reid’s comments as just a slick way of calling Thomas an “Uncle Tom,” thereby accusing him of not really being black. Thomas is seen as a strict constitutionalist and one of the more conservative members of the Supreme Court.
Reid, who said in 2008 that Barack Obama was most electable because he was “light skinned” and had “no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one,” said on Tuesday:
“The one thing we are going to do during this work period, sooner rather than later, is to ensure that women’s lives are not determine by virtue of five white men.”WATCH BELOW:

VIDEO: Democrat Sheila Jackson Lee Says the Border is ‘Under Control’
Democrat Congresswoman Sheila Jackson (TX-18) told MSNBC anchor Craig Melvin on Thursday that the U.S. border with Mexico is “under control,” in the face of a surge of tens of thousands of illegal aliens flooding the porous border.
SHEILA JACKSON LEE: “I disagree that our border is in devastating condition. Our border patrol agents are doing their job.”Congresswoman Jackson Lee then went on to tell Melvin, when asked to respond to various Democrat colleagues being critical of Obama not visiting the border, said she believed that Obama would eventually get around to visiting it.
CRAIG MELVIN: “Do you think the border is secure?”
JACKSON LEE: “Craig, here’s what I think. I think you have not looked to this issue except for this rising migration.”
MELVIN: “Congresswoman, this is — this is a very simple question, yes or no, are our borders secure?”
JACKSON LEE: “I think our border with now 21,000 border patrol agents is under control. We need to give them more resources, more equipment and they can stand to have more support as it relates to the increasing of those numbers that may come through the supplemental. There’s a large amount of money for increasing numbers of border patrol and ICE officers. But I would not cry fire to suggest that our border patrol agents are not on the job. They are on the job. I have spoken to them. I have been on the border, I have been on the Rio Grande. I have been on the border at night.”
