WATCH: Trey Gowdy Could Single-Handedly Take Out Hillary Clinton

As Trey Gowdy’s investigation of the Benghazi attacks soldiers on, many are wondering who the final finger will be pointed at. It’s disgusting that it has taken this long, but Representative Gowdy is slowly uncovering the truth.

And suspiciously, then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s name continues to come up. She has done a terrible job at defending herself, and she even blamed Ambassador Stevens for his own murder. No one is buying her excuses as she continues to make matters worse for herself.

Her lies are catching up with her, however, and Rep. Gowdy may be very close to actually taking her down. He has blasted everyone that has tried to stand up for Clinton throughout the investigation, as none of them seems to have an excuse for her actions or even an idea of her whereabouts.

Trey Gowdy (R-SC) has been quietly conducting his investigation of the Benghazi cover up to hold those responsible for the deaths of four Americans during the attack on the embassy accountable. He questioned Admiral Mullen about Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s role in the events of September 11, 2012.

Mr. Gowdy read from a 1998 Accountability Review Board (ARB): “The Secretary of State should personally review the security of embassies and other official premises, closing those which are highly vulnerable and threatened.” Mr. Gowdy asked Admiral Mullen, “Did [Secretary of State Clinton] personally review the security at Benghazi?” The Admiral answered, “All the evidence that we saw indicated ‘no’, but I don’t know the answer to that.”

Gowdy read a quote to the Admiral, asking him if he knew who wrote it: “The independent Accountability Review Board is already hard at work looking ateverything, not cherry-picking one story here or one document there, but looking at everything.”

Mr. Gowdy informed the Admiral that Hillary Clinton was the author. He asked the Admiral again: “How could you look at everything when you don’t even bother to interview the person who is ultimately responsible for what happens at the State Department?” The Admiral insisted that they found no evidence that Secretary of State Clinton was involved in the decision-making and there was no reason to question her.
