MEDIA BIAS: Crucial Facts Left Out of Reports on Murder of Three Muslim Students in North Carolina

Lets see how NBC covers this one?

The leftstream media and the anti-gun rights Democrats are always quick to turn stories involving someone being killed by a perpetrator with a gun into a method to push for gun control and a stripping away of our Second Amendment Rights. But, in the case of this murder of three Muslim students in North Carolina, they are silent. Why? Because the killer is a far-left wing atheist.
Craig Stephen Hicks, 46, shot Deah Shaddy Barakat, 23, of Chapel Hill, Yusor Mohammad, 21, of Chapel Hill, and Razan Mohammad Abu-Salha, 19, of Raleigh,  in the head on Tuesday evening. All died at the scene of the crime. He has been charged with first-degree murder in their deaths.

Hicks was reportedly a neighbor of the three victims.
The victims were all young college students, one man and two women, who had never caused any trouble. Bearing Arms reports on their backgrounds.
Victim Deah Shaddy Barakat was a second-year dental student and attempting to organize a trip to Turkey to treat refugees of the Syrian Civil War. He was married to victim Yusor Mohammad since late December. She was currently a student at NC State, and was going to start dental school at UNC-CH in the fall. Mohammad’s younger sister, Razan Mohammad Abu-Salha, was a sophomore at NC State who lived with her sister and brother-in-law. She was only 19.
There are a few reasons the media and Democrats are choosing to ignore this story rather than use it to push for gun control. First of all, as noted, Hicks is a radical left-wing progressive. Secondly, as noted by Bearing Arms, his weapon of choice does not meet with the narrative that they use in pushing for gun control. He used a .38 mm to shoot each of his victims at close range in the head.
Hicks turned himself into the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office in Pittsboro after the shooting.
Given the fact that he murdered 3 people in cold-blood, his Facebook cover photo is quite ironic.

It is quite obvious when looking at Hicks’ Facebook page that he is an atheist, far-left progressive. Yet, as noted by The Daily Caller, his progressive politics were ignored by theNew York Times, the Washington Post, and CNN.

The news report from Reuters fails to mention the victims’ religion and makes no mention whatsoever of Hicks’ atheism or far-left wing political ideology.

Don’t believe for one second that the leftstream media isn’t biased in pushing an agenda and a narrative. This is just one example of that reality.
