Obama just said there’s no “credible threats,” but look what we just found…

We shared this story some two or three months ago and of course it was dismissed, but now it’s come home to roost.
Has a completely false narrative been promulgated regarding ISIS that is contrary to the ground truth — to the intelligence reports presented?
As reported by the Business Insider, “The Pentagon is expanding its investigation into claims that Defense Department analysts altered intelligence on the terrorist group ISIS (also known as the Islamic State), according toThe New York Times.
Former intelligence officials told The Times that supervisors at US Central Command (or Centcom) were “particularly eager to paint a more optimistic picture of America’s role in the [Iraqi] conflict than was warranted,” according to the newspaper.
US President Barack Obama commented on the investigation at a news conference in Malaysia over the weekend, telling reporters: “I don’t know what we’ll discover with respect to what was going on in Centcom. What I do know is my expectation — which is the highest fidelity to facts, data, the truth.”

Obama also said that he didn’t want “intelligence shaded by politics. But that’s exactly what Centcom leaders are being accused of. According to a September report from The Daily Beast, more than 50 intelligence analysts at Centcom formally complained that reports on the Islamic State and the Nusra Front — Al Qaeda’s affiliate in Syria — have been repeatedly altered by senior intelligence officials to fit with the Obama administration’s insistence that the US is winning the war against the two militant groups. Eleven individuals with knowledge of the details of the complaint told The Daily Beast that it says crucial parts of intelligence reports were taken out.”
First of all, let me explain something. We know the Obama administration has national security staffers known to regularly bypass the Pentagon and call directly to the geographic combatant commanders such as CENTCOM. So I find it unconscionable that President Obama, the commander in chief, doesn’t know anything about intelligence reports emanating from CENTCOM. The only viable deduction to come from Obama’s comment that he doesn’t know what we’ll discover means he’s out of the loop. So Mr. President, who in the White House knows what’s going on regarding intelligence reports from CENTCOM? Valerie Jarrett? Susan Rice?
We need to know who’s making the decisions on our national security in the White House because it sure seems it’s not President Barack Obama. He reminds me of the SGT Schultz character from the classic tv show “Hogan’s Heroes” — “I know nothing, nothing at all.” I wonder if President Obama also likes apple strudel?
I served along Ardennes Street as a young Airborne Major when it was then COL Lloyd Austin, Commander of the 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment. This is the same General Austin who was the on-the-ground Commander in Iraq who made the recommendation for a residual force in Iraq — a recommendation that was overridden by a political decision from President Obama.
So I find it further unbelievable that now, as CENTCOM Commander, General Austin would do anything shaded by politics. General Austin is a Soldier, a leader, a U.S. Army Airborne Ranger, and he could care less about politics — but bet your buttocks, he’ll be thrown under the bus and run over again by the vicious acolytes of Obama.
General Austin was not the one giving any order to “doctor” intelligence reports — he knows well what that means for troops on the ground. After all, it was General Austin who testified as to the failure of President Obama’s “strategy” to train Syrian rebels, $45 million spent on 54 bubbas all of whom save four or five were killed or captured, not by ISIS but by Al Nusra Front.
This is all about politics, just as in September, 2012 when four Americans were abandoned to die in Benghazi, the false narrative was about a video. No, there could be no possibility that Islamic terrorism and jihadism were alive and well heading into the 2012 presidential election. And so after referring to ISIS as the jayvee team, there could be no intelligence report to the contrary.
But it’s all building up against the Obama administration. We know that some 75 percent of the targets were not struck due to rules of engagement demanded by the Obama administration. ISIS has not been contained, defeated, degraded — nothing. And someone didn’t want that message to be proliferated – but General Austin would not be the one making that decision. As LTG Flynn, former head of the Defense Intelligence Agency stated, this investigation has to start at the top.
It must start with our SGT Schultz president, Barack Obama, who incessantly claims to know nothing and assume no responsibility, unless a team of U.S. Navy SEALS kills Osama bin Laden — then the rhetorical “I’s” begin to flow like a river.
The most transparent administration of all time is hardly that, but what is even more disturbing is how far the pendulum has swung. This is the most corrupt and deceitful administration we shall ever know.
You can bet if this were a Republican administration, this would be front page New York Times and running constantly on every liberal progressive media outlet. What do you hear?
Crickets.
