Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe Under Federal Investigation For Illegal Campaign Donations

If you aren’t familiar with Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe then there are a few things you should know.

#1 He is a longtime pal of Hillary Clinton and he used to work at her foundation.

#2 He is a really corrupt guy.

#3 He is now under federal investigation just like his old boss.

The FBI is investigating Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe for allegedly taking illegal campaign donations from a foreign donor. McAuliffe’s time as a board member for the Clinton Global Initiative is also under scrutiny. CNN has the story:

As part of the probe, the officials said, investigators have scrutinized McAuliffe’s time as a board member of the Clinton Global Initiative, a vehicle of the charitable foundation set up by former President Bill Clinton.

Among the McAuliffe donations that drew the interest of the investigators was $120,000 from a Chinese businessman, Wang Wenliang, through his U.S. businesses. Wang was previously delegate to China’s National People’s Congress, the country’s ceremonial legislature.

 Well that’s nice.

Looks like Terry was jealous that the FBI was giving Hillary so much attention so he joined in on the fun.

This represents yet another example of how the Clinton Foundation has been tied up in scandal and controversy.

Clearly, there was some shady stuff going on with these characters and hopefully the media starts taking these accusations seriously.

We aren’t holding our breath though.
