Doctors do not want Obamacare, Obama supports single payer health care

While Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius on Wednesday is defending President Obama when the president misled the American people about being able to keep their health plansunder Obamacare, 44 percent of doctors in New Yorksaid they will not participate in Obamacare.
The New York Post on Tuesday cited the survey done by the New York State Medical Society. The NY State Medical Society also posted the survey story on its Facebook page.
The survey also revealed that 33 percent say they are still not sure whether to become ObamaCare providers and only 23 percent of the 409 physicians queried said they are taking patients who signed up through health exchanges.
The doctors who were surveyed remained anonymous for reasons that patient or government backlash may ensue.
The post stated that one doctor said, “I plan to retire if this disaster is implemented. This is a train wreck.”
Dr. Sam Unterricht, president of the 29,000-member organization was quoted as saying, “This is so poorly designed that a lot of doctors are afraid to participate. There’s a lot of resistance… and Doctors don’t know what they’re going to get paid.”
The New York Post reported prior to the survey that doctors were worried sick about the impact of Obamacare.
Donald Moore, a primary-care doctor in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn told the New York Post, “ObamaCare is going to send me more patients to see and then cut the payments to provide the care — that’s what’s going to happen…I will not accept it.”
“President Obama made a big mistake by requiring uninsured residents to obtain medical coverage from for-profit insurers through the ObamaCare health exchanges instead of through public health programs like Medicaid.”
Meanwhile, while over two million and growing consumers are losing their existing health care plans while Obama is blaming insurance companies, Rush Limbaugh revealed on his Tuesday radio show that President Obama’s goal is to take health care to a single payer system.
In speaking to the Illinois AFL-CIO in June of 2003, President Obama was filmed in saying that he is a proponent of single payer health care but that the nation would not get there unless all branches of government were taken over by democrats.
In his speech, Obama said, “I happen to be a proponent of a single payer universal health care program.”
“I see no reason why the United States of America, the wealthiest country in the history of the world, spending 14 percent of its Gross National Product on health care cannot provide basic health insurance to everybody,” Obama said. “And that’s what Jim is talking about when he says everybody in, nobody out….a single payer health care plan, a universal health care plan. And that’s what I’d like to see. But as all of you know, we may not get there immediately.”
“Because first we have to take back the White House, we have to take back the Senate, and we have to take back the House.”
