Mother of Fallen SEAL: “I Can’t Call Obama a ‘Commander in Chief’”

Obama couldn’t resist playing politics with the ending of the Iraq War, and now the nation of Iraq is paying for it.
Earlier this month, it was reported that Al Qaeda fighters had actually taken control of a key region from the Iraqi government, only two years after US withdrawal.  Was it too soon?
Knowing that Americanswere war-weary and ready to see the troops in Iraq come home, Obama accelerated troop withdrawal just in time for re-election so he could campaign on the fact that he “ended the war in Iraq”.
Unfortunately, we’re paying the price for it as the Fallujah region which we fought so hard against the insurgency to win fell to Al Qaeda.
This decision to play politics with national security elicited some strong words from the mother of the first SEAL that was killed in Iraq.
FoxNews.com reports:
Marc Alan Lee, 28, was killed in Ramadi in Aug. 2006. His mother, Debbie Lee, called it “disgusting” that American sons and daughters gave their lives in areas of Iraq that are now back under al Qaeda control.
But she said she’s not surprised, and expected this would happen when the Obama administration did not leave behind U.S. forces to help maintain stability.
“This is the consequence of those choices that were made,” said Lee, who visited Ramadi in 2007 and 2010 and saw the success that U.S. troops had intransforming the city.
“It’s disgusting to me that we have a man who sits in the White House, whose title is commander-in-chief. I can’t call him a commander-in-chief because he doesn’t act that way, he doesn’t lead our troops, he doesn’t support them. I’m sick and tired of our troops being used as a political pawn,” she said.
Here is the full interview with the mother on Fox and Friends:
Please recommend and share this article on social media to show that you are sick and tired of our “Commander-in-Chief” using soldiers as political pawns.
