Her harangue apparently could not be contained in one article.
As support for abortion cools across America as a whole, its proponents seem to only grow shriller in their defense of the grotesque act. A particularly revolting case in point is the recent two-part column on Raw Feed featuring several outrageous claims by militant feminist Amanda Marcotte.
While her diatribe would doubtlessly nauseate pro-life Americans on several levels, her callous disregard for unborn children is its most disturbing aspect. She contends that ripping a living human from his or her mother’s body is less significant than an ordinary trip to the dentist .
In her bizarre world, as with far too many in the anti-life crowd, the convenience of a woman trumps her offspring’s right to life. What a woman “wants,” Marcotte writes, is far more important than what she calls “non-existent desires of a mindless pre-person” that can “be removed in about two minutes during an outpatient procedure.”
Driving her heartless point home, she said that “cavities fight harder to stay in place” than an unborn child.
“I don’t particularly like babies,” she continues, as if that fact was somehow in dispute. She calls God’s most precious gifts “loud and smelly” and “demanding,” concluding that they are “time-sucking monsters with their constant neediness.”
It seems that if there is any group of people she has more disdain for than infants, though, it is pro-life activists who dare speak up for the rights of the unborn. Adoption, heralded by millions as the best alternative to abortion, elicits a very succinct response from Marcotte.
“Adoption?” she writes. “F**k you, seriously.”
Her harangue apparently could not be contained in one article. Three days after the first part was published, Marcotte was back with more of the same filth. She described the “conservative argument against abortion” as “no, they’re not going to lift a finger to help you with your unwanted baby and you should have thought about that before f**king, you stupid slut who deserves to suffer…”
The radical left, however, is the hero in her mind because they support abortion on demand at any point during the pregnancy. She wrote that pro-abortion politician Wendy Davis’ step back from full support of abortion after 20 weeks was “a betrayal,” explaining her convoluted belief that the murderous act should not even be considered surgery.
Marcotte is a devastating reminder of why it is so vital that pro-life conservatives never quit fighting the scourge that is abortion. Her sick rhetoric should be a rallying point for those who realize an America that slaughters its most innocent citizens cannot continue to prosper.
