Marco to Conservatives: See Ya

I see him as "Crash and Burn". I have a Liberal Socialist coworker that says Breitbart and all conservative news not real. I would trust them any day over the Garbage at Msnbc. Now he is Snubbing Conservatives.  .....Still like Cruz over Rubio

This is big. According to Breitbart:

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) plans to snub the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) this year, and won’t show up at all, Breitbart News has learned exclusively.CPAC is hosted by the American Conservative Union (ACU) in National Harbor, Maryland, just outside Washington, D.C. In 2016, the conference will be held right after Super Tuesday from March 2 until March 5.

That Rubio is skipping the pre-eminent annual conservative gathering of thousands of activists in a presidential election year is extraordinarily telling about the direction of his campaign as the entire Washington establishment aligns behind him in a last-ditch desperate bid to stop billionaire frontrunner Donald Trump. Both Trump and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), as well as Dr. Ben Carson, have previously confirmed their attendance at CPAC this year—and each has attended the gathering in the past several years. Rubio did, alongside his mentor former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, appear at the 2015 CPAC.

Rubio's campaign is denying this report, and provided emails to RedState's Leon Wolf that seem to suggest the truth lies somewhere in between. Either way, it's somewhat troubling that scheduling an appearance at the gathering wasn't a more immediate priority. CPAC is attended by the sort of activists that Rubio will have to persuade if he's to overtake Ted Cruz and be the last man standing to challenge Donald Trump. If he chooses not to attend, he risks letting Donald Trump and Ted Cruz define him. If he does attend, he can challenge that perception and win hearts and minds. That this is an issue suggests his priorities may be misaligned.
