Texas Gov. Greg Abbott: Cruz Is Truthful, Honest, With the Highest Level of Integrity

I believe this any day over Trump calling him a Liar and Nasty. The Establishment Assholes don't like Ted because he don't play their games.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott joined The Glenn Beck Program today. When it comes to the character of Ted Cruz, there may be no better person to vouch for the senator. Governor Abbott has known Ted Cruz for 13 years. He worked side by side with him on a daily basis for five years. Here’s what he had to say about Ted Cruz on the program: It was Ted Cruz a decade ago who was standing in front of the United States Supreme Court who was arguing for religious liberty, arguing for marriage, arguing for protecting innocent life. He’s been there and been doing this for his entire adult life. In some of these huge victories, the head of the Supreme Court, ranging from the Second Amendment to state sovereignty to the Tenth Amendment, et cetera, he was able to put together multi-state coalitions of Republicans and Democrats who found common ground on principles that were constitutional principles. And, listen, being president is not a popularity contest. Being an effective president is getting something done. We are at a precipice in this country. We’re at the crossroads where we need a genuine conservative leader to put us back on the right track. Ted Cruz is that leader. He can get the job done. He can stand on conservative values and win.
