The third and final 2016 presidential debate was not only fiery, but it exposed another Clinton scandal to the American people. It is a scandal that demonstrates just how greedy and despicable the Clintons can be. When the topic of the Clinton Foundation came up Wednesday night, Hillary Clinton went into a lie-filled diatribe about how benevolent the organization is.
However, with a blazing quick response, Donald Trump slammed Clinton with the truth about the Clinton Foundation and how it defrauded the people of Haiti after their devastating 2010 earthquake. And a viral video on Trump’s Facebook page proves just how angry the Haitian people are.
It is a story we have heard so many times about the Clinton Foundation. Bill and Hillary Clinton stroll onto a stage – probably for a six-figure speaking fee – and talk about all of the good work their foundation does. Lost in it all is the scheming the Clintons have built into the mix—scheming that redirects the lion’s share of the charity’s money to Clinton cronies and the Clintons themselves.
“Whether you’re talking about housing or cell phones, the people that are closest to the Clintons have made out very well from the Haitian earthquake,” the video opens. “The rest of the country, the ordinary people of Haiti, not so much.”
Saying the people closest to the Clintons “made out well,” is an understatement on a magnificent level. The small island nation in the Caribbean still exists in excessive disrepair. People are still without permanent housing and exist dependent on charitable handouts. Almost nothing has been done for the people of Haiti even though billions of dollars The Clinton Foundation’s involvement with the recovery effort after the 2010 natural disaster is well known. They talk about it every time someone brings up something truthful but unflattering about the organization. It is one of the jewels in the Clinton Foundation crown.
However, Haitian protesters in New York – people with relatives still reeling from the devastation of the earthquake – routinely converge on the Hillary Clinton’s Manhattan office to draw attention to what they say is the theft of billions of dollars through the Haiti Reconstruction Commission headed by Bill Clinton. They also charge the commission was used as a vehicle for government kickbacks to the Clinton Foundation to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars.
Former Haitian Senate President Bernard Sansaricq, at a recent Trump campaign rally in New York, shed light on the corruption in the Clintons’ Haitian relief effort. To hear him tell the story, the Clintons saw the natural disaster as an opportunity to enrich themselves and their friends.
Sansaricq spotlighted the rise of a cellular company, Fusion International, which eventually transitioned into Digicel. Digicel became the major cellular service provider throughout the Caribbean. Not coincidentally, Clinton crony Dennis O’Brien, who runs Digicel, has given millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation. The former Haitian Senate president says the Clinton Foundation gleaned billions of dollars for the recovery effort on that island, claiming not even two percent of those funds actually went to Haiti and the recovery effort. The bulk of the money donated to the Clinton Foundation for the Haitian relief effort, he said, was eaten up by “administrative costs.”
Anyone with a brain understands that “administrative costs” means high-priced salaries for Clinton Foundation employees and associated interests, which included the Clintons’. This is the modus operandi of the Clintons—getting rich off of other people’s woes and hard work.
The Haitians protesting Hillary Clinton are right to do so. She and Bill have abused and mistreated an entire nation—a nation of black people, Haitian people, during their time of need. The Clintons abused them to line their own pockets – and those of their friends – with cash.
Yeah, Hillary Clinton cares about the people, but only if their misery can make her rich.
