In January 2017 Socialist Senator Bernie Sanders called for James Comey to be fired or step down.

This was at the same time the FBI was conducting an investigation on his wife, Jane Sanders, for falsified loan documents while she served as the president of Burlington College.

On Thursday Bernie Sanders said President Trump’s firing of James Comey a “threat to the rule of law.”

Trump’s firing of James Comey at this time was absolutely uncalled for and a threat to the rule of law in our country.
