President Obama spoke to Fox News host Bill O’Reilly on Sunday, right before the Super Bowl. When asked about the IRS targeting and the corruption, the President explained that there was not ‘a smidgen of corruption.’ This, of course, was an outright lie. You could see it on his face. So, he has been given 3 Pinocchios for this lie, and may receive The Lie of the Year Award once again.
The first time President Obama received The Lie of the Year was when he said that “if you like your health plan , you can keep it. Period. If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.” But when Obamacare took affect in October 2013, people began receiving cancellation notices in the mail for their health insurance due to Obamacare regulations. So the ‘if you like your health plan you can keep it’ speech was nothing but a lie. A big, fat lie. And it won The Lie of the Year Award.
Isn’t it amazing how he went from winning the Nobel Peace Prize to winning two back-to-back Lie of the Year Awards? If Idaho Republican Re. Raul Labrador gets his way, then that’s exactly what will happen.
“I find it fascinating that this administration says there’s no smidgen of corruption, which I think will be the lie of this year,” Labrador said.
