Trey Gowdy’s Going Off on the Government Again, and It’s Fantastic

What’s the latest Obama administration incompetence that’s got Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) furious? It’s all about President Obama’s interview before the Super Bowl, in which the president said there wasn’t a “smidgen of corruption” with the IRS scandal. Which seems a little premature, seeing as the FBI hasn’t investigated one single person from any of the targeted conservative groups.

“How can the president say there’s not a smidgen of criminality when Lois Lerner invoked the Fifth Amendment and 41 witnesses haven’t been interviewed including the two that are here right now?”

Thank you Rep. Gowdy for being one of the few people in Congress still willing to find out what happened when the IRS overstepped it’s bounds and went after conservative groups as a means of political intimidation.
