Obama’s Executive Action Adds More Illegal Aliens to Workforce than Jobs Created For Americans During His Presidency

If President Barack Obama proceeds with his unilateral amnesty plan he will add as many foreign workers to the nations labor force as the total number of jobs his economy has created since 2009.  President Obama’ plan, to be announced late November 20th, will distribute five million work permits to illegal immigrants, and also create a new inflow of foreign college graduates for prestigious salary jobs previously filled Americans.

Is this sensible or spiteful?

Since 2009, Obama has already provided nearly one million extra work permits to foreigners, while his economy has created only six million new jobs, according to the IMF.

The new work permits will add to the President’s previous giveaways.

The new work permits will increase competition for jobs now held or sought by blue-collar Americans, including many African-Americans and Latinos who voted for Obama in 2008 and 2012.

Most polls show the public does not welcome the President’s new amnesty plan, and would prefer the President work with Congress on immigration reform.

Companies annually hire approximately 450,000 blue-collar guest workers and 200,000 white-collar guest workers. These workers stay and work for from one to six years.

The current population of approximately 600,000 foreign graduate students will likely increase as Obama’s plan allows more U.S. universities to offer green cards to foreign tuition-paying students who then compete for higher-paying jobs sought also by Americans. In May 2014, Obama’s deputies announced they would extend work permits to 100,000 spouses of university-trained guest workers for work at brand name companies.

At least nine million Americans are unemployed and approximately seven million Americans have given up looking for work
Employment rates among African-Americans and Latinos are lower than rates for whites and Asians. Since 2000, the number of native-born Americans with jobs has stalled while the population of working-age native born Americans has increased.

Wages have flat-lined because of the surplus of job seekers in the country.

We should demand our leadership reduce restrictions and regulations that prohibit job creation and create robust demand for more workers before adding more to the unemployment rolls.
