Report: Elite Liberal Donor Group Snubs Hillary

Look at this, Progressive socialist Elizabeth Warren was invited and Hillary left out! This again would be scary to think that these socialist Liberals Would  be Pushing Warren for 2016! I hope the people of this Country don't fall for her like they were Suckered into Obama!

Hillary Clinton was not invited to a gathering of elite liberal political donors in Washington this week that will feature Vice President Joe Biden and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren.

The annual winter meeting of Democracy Alliance began on Wednesday and will meet in closed-door sessions over four days at the exclusive Mandarin Hotel, Politico reports.

Clinton, who is widely seen as the leading contender for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2016, was not invited to the conference — a move that has caused some consternation among her supporters, the report says.

"We invited Sen. Warren because, as Secretary Clinton herself has said, she is a leading progressive voice on the economy, and she is kicking off an economics discussion," Gara LaMarche, the alliance's director, told Politico.

Founded in 2005, the Democracy Alliance connects high-powered donors with a network of about 200 groups, The Washington Free Beacon reports. The groups include political action committees, activist groups, nonprofit organizations and political vendors.

The network seeks to advance Democratic policies and candidates, the Free Beacon reports. The alliance does not publicly disclose information about its activities or donors.

According to a program viewed by Politico, the group's annual winter meeting includes sessions on battling climate change, reducing the role of money in politics, stepping up Wall Street regulation and other liberal causes.
Warren, who scored well at last year's meeting, is scheduled to speak on Thursday during a session titled "An Economy That Works for All: A Progressive Plan and the Path to Making It Happen," Politico reports.

The program described the session as a discussion on a state of affairs "we can't sustain," in which "the Dow Jones rises, real wages decline, and unemployment remains chronic," Politico reports.

The alliance is featuring a Friday night gala at which Biden is scheduled to appear.

Donors and supporters attending will "toast the tremendous work of the progressive community and look ahead to the future we hope to build together," says an invitation obtained by Politico.

Also, a super-PAC called Ready for Warren, which is seeking to draft her for the White House in 2016, will meet with donors during the conference. It was financed early on by two former Democracy Alliance members, Deborah Sagner and Guy Saperstein, Politico reports.

"I think there would be a stampede away from Hillary if Elizabeth Warren became a serious candidate with a serious campaign infrastructure and polling match-ups of Hillary v. Republicans continued to show her weakness," Saperstein, a San Francisco lawyer, told Politico in an email.
