Rep. Lewis Takes His Feud with Trump Straight to the People...And Tries to Profit from It

Only my opinion but it looks like if this Piece of Crap is trying to raise money off this "Feud" with Trump when Lewis actually started it, looks to me like he is stirring the pot of "Racism" by trying to raise money from his base. His past History don't mean Shit when he does this crap.

On Friday, a clip was leaked of Democrat Congressman John Lewis (Georgia) talking to NBC's Chuck Todd in a segment that aired on Sunday's “Meet the Press.” In that clip, Lewis explained why he would not be attending the Inauguration.

Lewis called Trump's election “illegitimate,” blaming a conspiracy involving Russian hackers and the unnamed parties, and said that it wouldn't be right for him to stand there as if that were acceptable.

Trump responded via Twitter, suggesting that Lewis would be better served in taking a closer look at his own “crime-infested” district:

Congressman John Lewis should finally focus on the burning and crime infested inner-cities of the U.S. I can use all the help I can get!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 15, 2017  Continuing the tit-for-tat, Lewis took another swing at Trump on Saturday - but not via Twitter. Instead, he addressed Democrats and supporters in a fundraising email that hit inboxes on Saturday evening:

Today Donald Trump attacked me on Twitter. He said that I’m “all talk” and “no action.”
I’ve been beaten bloody, tear-gassed, fighting for what’s right for America. I’ve marched at Selma with Dr. King. Sometimes that’s what it takes to move our country in the right direction.

The email, according to Mediaite, noted that all incoming donations would be evenly divided between the DNC and Congressman Lewis's re-election fund.

In addition to the fundraising letter, sales of Congressman Lewis's graphic novel, “March,” saw an enormous spike in sales after he began sparring with the president-elect.
