Krauthammer Drops a Bomb: If a Republican Had Done What Obama Did, He'd Be Impeached By Now

Charles Krauthammer: Obama is Admitting “He’s A Failure” (VIDEO)

During his State of the Union address, Barack Obama dedicated several moments to slamming income inequality… which has increased under his own watch.

“Corporate profits andstock prices have rarely been higher,” the president said. “And those at the top have never done better. But average wages have barely budged. Inequality has deepened. Upward mobility has stalled. The cold, hard fact is that even in the midst of recovery, too many Americans are working more than ever just to get by — let alone get ahead.”

In an appearance on Fox News, Charles Krauthammer indicated these statements read more like “a campaign speech of someone running against Barack Obama” than a speech about the condition of the United States. In other words, he’s admitting his failures — caused by big government — and introducing big government solutions to “fix” them. Here is what Krauthammer said:

Well, listening to that excerpt from Ed Henry, you would think that’s the campaign speech of someone running against Barack Obama. Obama is indicting the four years, the five years he’s been president. He said the rich have done well, everybody else has stalled, inequality has increased. Well, the four years, the five years are his years.

Essentially, he’s saying my job now is to undo what I have done in the five years of my presidency. It’s hardly sort of a ringing call to arms. I’m sure they now tested all of these words, inequality, opportunity, all this stuff, to see which ones resonate with the focus groups, but I don’t think it’s going to help him in any way.

As for, you know, the agenda he has, if you heard what Robert Gibbs said, he’s given up on being the great uniter, the charismatic president who would bring America together. And now he’s simply trying to hang on for quite small achievements. Which I think in his own eyes means that he’s a failure.

To call Barack Obama a failure is an understatement. It is not as if he tried really, really hard to restore the republic, protect our liberties, and do good by the economy by keeping the government’s hand out of it for it to just not work out… He’s done thecomplete opposite and he promised during his address to make it even worse.
