[VIDEO] Black Preacher: Who Cares If Obama’s Black… Do Your Job

Barack Obama is the first black President of the United States, and he likes to remind us of that on a fairly regular basis, even though race is no longer a major defining issue for most people in general.
Obama was elected with overwhelming support from the black community, but some of that support is waning as he has proven himself to be less than competent at running the government.
But Obama blames his low approval ratings on his being black, and not the fact that people disagree with his policies, or are outraged over the endless list of crimes, lies, corruption and scandals that have nothing to do with his skin color.
Back around MLK Day, Fox News‘ Greta Van Susteren had Rev. Michel Faulkner, former NFL football player turned preacher, on as a guest to discuss Obama,Obamacare and Martin Luther King.
GRETA: Reverend, let me ask you another question. It’s about comments President Obama made to the “New Yorker” magazine. The president saying, “No doubt there’s some folks who really dislike me because they don’t like the idea of a black president. Now, the flip side of it is, there are some black folks and maybe some white folks who really like me and give me the benefit of thedoubt precisely because I’m a black president.”
Reverend, your thoughts on the president’s comments?
REV. FAULKNER:  He is the President of these United States of America, black, white, whatever. We elected him and twice. So he has got a job to do, black, white, whatever. And, sure, there are some people that don’t like him because is he black and there are some people that are going to give him the benefit of the doubt because is he black. So what? Do your job, Mr. President. We elected you to do a job.
We didn’t elect you because you were black. We elected you because the majority of Americans believed that the content of your character was beyond the color of your skin. Now for you to bring up skin color in this day and age. I have been black all my life and I have been dealing with it all my life. We do that. That is what we do. We have to be comfortable in who we are. Not saying that the comments said that Mr. Obama is not comfortable in who he is, however he is the president of the United States. I don’t expect the president to say those things or to at least say them out loud so people can hear them. He is the president. He has got a job to do.
The President does have a job to do, a job that he apparently doesn’t take very seriously.  He has a history of going golfing, going on vacation, or attending fundraisers instead of getting his daily national security briefings or dealing with major crisis’, like Benghazi.
Obama seems more intent on playing the race card and perpetuating racial dividesthan taking to heart the words of Martin Luther King.  Obama stays focused on the color of one’s skin instead of the content of one’s character.
Barack Obama is horrible at his job and will go down in history as the worst President this nation has ever suffered under.  There are so many reasons for which he should be impeached, but the color of his skin isn’t one of those reasons.  It is the incredibly terrible job he has done at running the country.
