Obama never misses a chance to disparage the United States while praising himself. Obama is visiting Greece, Italy, and Peru, for God knows what reason, except to take a last vacation on the taxpayers' dime.
Yesterday in Greece he said the election is not a referendum on his tenure and criticized the election as having a "dark side" of populist movements.
The Washington Post reported on November 15, 2016:
Obama, who made it clear during the course of the hour-long news conference that he did not view the recent U.S. election results as a referendum on his own tenure or world vision, suggested that targeting specific racial, religious ethnic groups could backfire[.] ... Obama ... made it clear that he sees a dark side to the kind of populist movements Trump's campaign embodied[.]
Obama said: "We are going to have to guard against a rise in a crude sort of nationalism, or ethnic identity or tribalism that is built around an us and a them[.]"
If this wasn't bad enough, Obama said:
In the United States we know what happens when we start dividing ourselves along the lines of race or religion or ethnicity. It is dangerous. It is dangerous, not just for the minority groups that are subjected to that kind of discrimination, or in some cases in the past, violence, but because we then don't realize our potential as a country when we are preventing blacks or Latinos or Asians or gays or women from fully participating in the project of building American life[.]
Obama is in Greece saying gays, blacks, Latinos, and women are prevented from fully participating in building "American life." These are the groups that did not come out to vote for Hillary because they did not want to vote for Hillary.
These groups have more rights and freedom in the United States than in any country in the history of the world. Instead of praising our country's progress, Obama dwells only on past injustices as if nothing has changed in our country.
Obama, Michelle, and Joe Biden campaigned every day for weeks for Hillary, calling Trump every name in the book. Obama said that if voters did not vote for Hillary, he would take it as a personal insult. Trump said he will repeal Obamacare, rescind the Iran nuclear deal, reduce taxes, and rescind Obama's executive orders, meaning a total repudiation of Obama's agenda. Trump won on his agenda to rescind Obama's agenda. Yet Obama has convinced himself that the election was not a referendum on his agenda.
Obama spent over twenty years in the church of Reverend Wright, listening to anti-American, anti-Semitic, anti-white rants. He started his political career at a fundraiser in the home of Bill Ayers, a domestic terrorist from the SDS/Weathermen era. But he has the nerve to lecture us that by voting for Trump, we cause division along racial and ethnic lines.
Obama started his tenure in 2009 with an apology tour in the Middle East, where he constantly "apologized" for U.S. power. He is ending his tenure by again apologizing for the United States and criticizing our country in his final overseas tour.
Obama has no class or sense of patriotism to go overseas and criticize sixty million American voters because we did not vote for Hillary.
Obama has no shame.
