Leave it to Nancy Pelosi to defend unconstitutional government spying.
On Saturday, Pelosi was booed by progressive liberal activists for defending President Obama on the NSA’s surveillance programs and suggesting that Edward Snowden (the whistleblower) broke the law.
She said, “People on the far right are saying oh, this is the fourth term of President Bush. Absolutely, positively not so.”
Pelosi then starting blabbing on about how the country needs a “balance” of security and privacy — in the middle of her gobbledegook, a 57-year-old activist named Marc Perkel shouted at her and was escorted out of the room.
He yelled, “It’s not a balance. It’s not constitutional! No secret laws!”
As Perkel was being escorted out, others in the room started yelling, “Leave him alone!” and “That’s what a police state looks like right there!”

Zerlina Maxwell, the moderator, tried to quiet the crowd by telling them to submit their questions on Twitter instead of shouting them out.
Then Pelosi started talking about Snowden and got even more push back.
She said, “As far as Snowden: he did violate the law in terms of releasing those documents.”
The crowd booed at her — someone even shouted, “You suck!”
Lol!
Pelosi responded by saying, “I look forward to working with all of you. Now that the public knows more – it gives us an opportunity for some of the things we’ve been advocating for a while.”
She finally got applause from the audience when she said, “The real problem is outsourcing our national security. When you outsource, you lose a lot of that strength.”
As for me, I think Pelosi is wonderful! And by “wonderful,” I mean “god-awful and annoying as hell.”
