O’Reilly Blasts NBC News for ‘Paying Al Sharpton to Deliver Garbage’

AS SEEN ON THE O'REILLY FACTOR

“I came back from vacation because I am furious, furious about how the shooting death of 18-year-old Michael Brown is being reported and how various people are reacting to it,” Bill O’Reilly said in tonight’s Talking Points Memo.
O’Reilly said that agitators believe the video that allegedly shows Brown robbing a store is a smear. But O’Reilly noted, “Facts are not smears.”
“The Factor” host blasted the “disgraceful” looting in Ferguson.
“The people rioting and looting in Ferguson are dishonoring the memory of Michael Brown and his grieving family. They are insulting them.”

“The Factor” is investigating the people arrested in Ferguson amid the protests. Of the 78 arrested Monday night, “The Factor” believes that about 30 of those people have prior criminal records. Only four of the 78 were from Ferguson, and O’Reilly said “the others are troublemakers who just streamed into town.”
But the liberal media will never report the truth about criminal justice in the U.S., O’Reilly said. In 2012, there were 12 million arrests, and in 99.9 percent of those cases, the perpetrator was not shot by police.
O’Reilly blasted NBC News because it “pays Al Sharpton to deliver garbage,” he said.
“Al Sharpton has the nerve to insult the American police community – men and women risking their lives to protect us,” he said.

On MSNBC, analyst Michelle Bernard said, “There is a war on black boys in this country,” which O’Reilly slammed as misleading. He said 91 percent of black people are killed by other black people.
The “race hustlers” have already convicted Officer Darren Wilson, O’Reilly said. They don’t care what happened and they want him punished. O’Reilly said that Wilson should be imprisoned if he is found guilty of murder by a jury.
“Officer Wilson is entitled to the presumption of innocence that we all have under our Constitution, something Al Sharpton will never give him,” he said.
O’Reilly said that President Barack Obama was correct to call for calm in Ferguson and now should step aside so the Justice Department can uncover the facts.

“What happened to Michael Brown should never happen to any American. What happened after his death should never happen in this country, but it is happening and only the truth will overcome the chaos,” he said.
Watch the memo above. Below, hear Bob Beckel and James Carville react.
