Pro-Second Amendment Democrat Sheriff Wins Primary Despite Bloomberg Funding Opponent

This looks like another Case where Money did not buy Votes! Good Win....

Sheriff.David.Clarke

A strong Second Amendment rights supporting sheriff, David Clarke, won his primary last night in Wisconsin, despite anti-rights billionaire Michael Bloomberg’s financial backing of his opponent.
Bloomberg, the former New York City mayor, who has thrown his fat wallet into anti-rights Democrat candidates across the country, invested $150,000 into Clarke’s opponent, Chris Moews, in the Milwaukee County, Wisconsin primary featuring the two Democrats.

Bloomberg’s investment turned out to be a dud, as Clarke defeated Moews, 52-48 percent.

Sheriff Clarke won the 2013 “Sheriff of the Year” award by the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association (CSPOA).

Sheriff Clarke received national attention when, in 2013, he produced a public service ad that encouraged individual citizens to exercise their Second Amendment rights, going against many in the Democrat Party:

“I’m Sheriff David Clarke and I want to talk to you about something personal: Your safety. It’s no longer a spectator sport. I need you in the game. But are you ready? With officers laid off and furloughed, simply calling 911 and waiting is no longer your best option. … Consider taking a certified safety course in handling of firearms, so you can defend yourself until we get there. You have a duty to protect yourself and your family. We’re partners now. Can I count on you?”
“First and foremost, I want to give thanks to Almighty God, because through him all things are possible,” Sheriff Clarke said to his enthusiastic crowd of campaign supporters before the final numbers were in Tuesday evening.

Sheriff Clarke, who has no Republican opponent in November’s general election, then thanked his family for staying strong, even in the face of seeing his opponent bombard the airwaves with negative ads.

Bloomberg’s $150,000 contribution represents more money than either candidate spent on the their campaigns, according to the Washington Post

Sheriff Clarke’s Twitter feed is full of conservatives supporting the sheriff, even though he’s a Democrat:
