So yesterday, we see pictures emerge of a parade of African dictators, killers, and homophobes happily posing for photos in the residence of the leader of the free world. If there was any doubt in your mind about what is important to our Dear Leader, this episode should dispel any false notions of him placing value on liberty, freedom, and democracy. No, it is far more important for President Obama to showcase his African roots and to show complete contempt for what this nation has stood for over the three-hundred years or so prior to his presidency.
I’m of course speaking of the first ever African Summit held by the Obamas in Washington. The U.K.’s Daily Mail printed this headline earlier today: Obama’s monsters ball: How the White House opened its doors to some of Africa’s most evil dictators and homophobes and turned blind eye to their human rights record.
I have to wonder: are the Democrats proud of this behavior? Are they proud of our president hobnobbing with killers? Are there any sane Democrats in this country who regret voting and being swindled by this disaster of a president? Or is the half of the country that considers itself liberal all too willing to spin away anything negative coming from this White House? Are they so thirsty for power that nothing else matters? And are those in the mainstream media going to whitewash this whole incident because they are so corrupt that they can’t even see the forest for the trees anymore?
We have this president channeling King George by ignoring the Constitution and issuing orders whenever he feels like it. We have him using the enormous power of the federal government against the political opposition through the use of the tax authority and other enforcement agencies. We have him refusing to deal with national security threats to the country emerging like roaches when the lights are turned off in a dirty kitchen.
We have President Obama fostering racial hatred and division across the country. We have an attorney general who views his duty as preventing the legal system from holding the administration accountable for their crimes against America.
Really, can you imagine the uproar if the Bush White House would have held a summit for these dictators? I can see the headlines now from the New York Times: Bush holds summit for people who want to kill gays!
The bottom line is that President Obama just can’t bring himself to support the traditional values that have made this country a beacon of light and hope for the world. If left to his devices, America would turn into a country just like those he showcased in the White House yesterday–a nation of corruption, abuse of power, rape rooms, homophobia, and the like. Maybe Obama doesn’t promote these American values of the last three-hundred years because he doesn’t share them.
